JEMIMA DENHAM

Hey! Nice to have you here.

I got my start in journalism at 14, writing a column for my school’s student-run magazine. By my final year, I was editing the whole publication — and I was hooked.

I moved to the US when I was 18 and studied English and Political Science at Georgetown University. I wrote for The Hoya, the university’s paper of record, covering DC's criminal justice system, Black Lives Matter protests, and local news. I also served as the paper’s senior photo editor.

After that, I earned a Master of Science from Columbia Journalism School. My coursework included New York metro beat reporting, business news, podcast production, and investigative journalism. My thesis investigated how one attorney cornered the market for Egon Schiele artworks and restituted works from museums like MoMA.

In 2023 I joined Forbes magazine, covering wealth and contributing to reporting for the Forbes 400 and 30 Under 30 lists. In 2024, I reported on health and the business of healthcare at Bloomberg News in New York.

Since June 2024, I’ve been back home in London, reporting on private credit and private equity M&A financing for 9fin.
